Seriously considering doing this but what chainring size & sprocket size is suitable for a 29er? Thanks for any info/advice.

I've found 32:18 to be fine but depends where you live and how gnar you are ๐Ÿ˜‰

32:18 in summer 32:20 in winter but it is a little hilly here. I think switching to a 20 helps when it is muddy.

I run 33:20 which is great for getting up hills, but a bit spinny when it's flat.

Started with 32:18 which was okay, swapped to a 19 which has made it more enjoyable.
In the lake district, so plenty hilly.

36:20 works for me - FoD , Cannock , Cwmcarn . Its always going to be a compromise between climbing and flat out speed . Try staying in one gear for your normal riding until you find what works for you .
