Anyone got any idea what gearing might be appropriate?

Couls have done with something a little easier in Belgium 2011 than 32:16.

Really? Seemed ok to me. I'll not be changing it for 2012 either. Going off that email they sent out they are getting peed off with people asking them stuff like 'what tyres?' etc

good lord, it's a single speed event! turn with a bike, ride, have fun, meet new people, go home, get over hangover and repeat for the next one. You give singlespeeders a bad name 😀

By the time you bunch of freaks have minced your way down that south of France place on a limited budget,in sandals and hippie kit the least of your worries will be gear ratios..... 😆 Oh i wish us poor Yarkshire folk could afford the fuel costs but we will be driving our tractors to SSUK 8)

Orval and Tunworth

Advance preparation will mean I have to wait for less time in the air conditioned team coach whilst my mechanic changes sprockets.

Ratio??? One shot for every pint should suffice.
