Hi Pierre, nice to meet you for all of two minutes 😉 Thanks for the subsidised Sunday pub meal ticket. I owe you a pint to make up the difference. I had the Ploughmans BTW, the cod 'n chips option was heavily portion controlled 🙂

Had an amazing time at SSEC... my first one... Thankyou to Sheldon and the Mighty Knights of Niche for not being niche and letting us all enjoy the fun.
The riding was brilliant, I havent enjoyed such good single track in too long. The drink was epic... and thanks also have to be expressed to the Belgians for bringing their own bar, you convinced us, the CGCC (Crookes Gentelmans cycling club) will be there next year but not dressed as robots. And thanks again to Sheldon for the super blingy pedals to replace the ones I snapped on course.
Got a load of video to edit down which I'll post of in due course but I've just
Flickr'dme pic's in the mean time.

Thanks to everyone that made it so good... especially the Sun!

Nick

stumpynya12 - It's Nik isn't it, don't worry I think I've just found my natural home!(it's taken long enough)
On my budget I'd rather people look at my bike and think "freak" than "that's s***"!! 🙂

There was cheesestring on the table, therefore you are going to have to come next year now! My boy saw them and had one.

do me and the missus win the prize for most rubbish trip home. Should have flown back on Sunday afternoon but after a car hire, some trains, many taxis, an expensive hotel, Le Eurostar, a coach, a ferry and another coach we arrived in Hommersåk, Norway at 4.30am today. Only 4 days late for work 😆 and about 2000 quid extra spent

We had a fantastic time and hope all you other non UK residents made it home

see you next year in Belgian-land

Yup, I reckon that may be 'the most rubbish trip home' winner. Pleased that you are still thinking of trekking to Belgian-land. Best start saving for the contingency fund.
