Hi, Got a new bike today but want to ditch the Elixers in favour of my XT's. Trouble is the X7 shifters are matchmakers so can someone please point me in the direction of what I need to clamp the shifter independently of the brake lever. Ta very much.

You can just buy a metal circular clamp to replace the matchmaker. They look really tidy too and they are OEM. Try chain reation cycles or something. I bought one and it cost about 5pounds.

Cheers tom, got some "X0 discreet clamps" from CRC, wasn't sure if they were the right ones as there was no image but they are and we're all sorted now. 🙂
