I had a problem with my X1 gears today and can't quite work out what the cause is.
The bike has SRAM X1 1 x 11 gear system.
Going up a steep incline the gears started to jump, it felt like a stiff link jumping, but it isn't that.
The gears jump under any sort of pressure , they jump on every rear cog of the cassette, so I have ruled out the cassette being too worn.
The chain is less than 0.75 worn, I rotate the drive system with two quality 11 speed chains, both chains are not worn,, and it jumps on either of the chains.
I have taken the DT Swiss freehub body off and cannot see anything of note, cleaned all inside, re assembled , but still jumps.
Front chainring is fine.
Definitely feels like the freehub is slipping under load.
Bike has only been ridden 300 miles max off road from new.
Anyone have experience of the SRAM 11 speed DT hub causing grief?
May well not be this but i had gear issues and it was the rear mech coming loose on the mech hanger. This was on x01 but same system tightened up and issue sorted.
Cheers,
one thing I hadn't checked.
I'll have a look in the morning.

Denis,
I had this on my brand new bike. I also unpacked the the freehub (star ratchets & springs) and repacked them - but mo joy.
In the end, i actually got replacement rtchets & springs under warranty (same as what you see here : http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/dt-swiss-hub-service-kit-ratchet-system/rp-prod81210?gs=1&gclid=CI3DiaCWkMYCFS2WtAod6S8AOg&gclsrc=aw.ds ) - and that fixed it!!
The ratchets looked perfect when i compared them with the replacements - so my guess is the springs were just a teeny bit too weak.
Perhaps you could try stretch them out a bit so as to help them push the ratches inwards to engage better?
I forgot to mention that when I took the freehub apart there was hardly any trace of any grease in there at all.
I applied some very light grease sparingly, but this didn't make any difference.
Went to bed and slept on it , I then remembered that my road bike has DT star ratchet system.
Swapped the internals over, and everything works as it should.
I will get in touch with the shop for a warranty replacement.
Never had a freehub fail before, hope this is a one off.
Easy to take apart and regrease etc, so I will probably do this every three months or so.
