Posted this q in my other thread about SRAM brakes but it probably warrants its own if I want an answer.
Does anyone make decent quality 160mm rotor brackets that are less of a lottery in terms of quality than buying any SRAM ones? I’m suspecting that the ones currently fitted to my bike are not machined accurately and I’ll probably need replacements. I CBA to buy loads of SRAM ones in the hope of finding a decent set. Also is there anywhere I can see a diagram of what measurements they are supposed to be so I can check before fitting?
What makes you suspect the SRAM ones are not up to scratch?
The fact that the pads wear with a lip at the top where they don’t contact the rotor and there is a small amount of the pad (2mm) visible, sitting above the rotor which corresponds with the surface wear. There is no adjustment available to correct this…
They may be OK and the frame mounts need facing but I’m hoping that’s not the case. Given that I’ve just requested a warranty replacement on two GX cassettes that were both bent, I don’t have much faith in SRAM QC at the mo!

It's a million more times likely to be your frame rather than the mount.
Been into LBS who are going to face the frame mounts… 😬
