[#3917600]

I have a Sram Rival short cage rear mech.

it states it can take a maximum of 28.

my main objective though is reliability - would it manage a 28 as good as a 27?

or would it make no difference as long as everything is tuned up correctly?

cheers
Craig.

also would a Shimano 105 cassette work as well with rival/force shifters & deraillers?

It'll do a 28, you might need to adjust the B screw but mine works fine.

And, yes a 105 cassette would work fine

I'm running a Force rear mech with a Ultegra 11-28 just fine. Had to adjust the B screw a little.

I'm running a Rival short mech with a 105 28t cassette. No problems at all.

The price that cassette on the Amazon link is discounted from is way off. The RRP on those is closer to £60 not £80.

The £30 it's discounted to is a good price for it regardless.
