Sram Gxp xo crank outer bolt rounded off.

I have buggered my left side crank outer bolt. The 10mm bolt, not the internal 8 mm crank puller. I can get the crank off, but it looks a real mess. Can somebody confirm whether it is anti-clockwise to remove this 10mm bolt? I have ordered a new bolt, but I want to get it out. Any help appreciated.

If its on the non drive side, anti clockwise to remove. The arrow in the pic indicates the torque to tighten

Thanks swelper. Thats what I thought it might have been. Just want to make sure as its a real arse to get this bolt off.

i have done the same. These caps are made of cheese!

Couple of questions...

How did you get on removing the cap?

How did you manage to get the crank off without removing the cap??
