Specifically a 12 speed rear mech. Can anyone find one of these in stock anywhere. Any help greatly appreciated.

Having a quick nosey, I can't find any in stock and this link - https://www.tredz.co.uk/.SRAM-Rear-Derailleur-GX-Eagle-12-Speed-Max-52T_230035.htm - suggests it won't be until October before the part is available!

Maybe try having a look for Shimano mech options instead?

As per thepurist recommendation, slx works fine with a gx 12 speed shifter if you’re happy to mix brands.

Depending on cassette, the 11spd SRAM mechs can match too. But I think most of them have a max of 42t (or 44t at a push) so this is probably not that helpful.

I got one from Certini a couple of weeks ago, but looks like they're out of stock now.

@rickmeister, I don't think bike-components.de are shipping to the UK at the moment.

Edit: r2-bike.com are still shipping to the UK though: https://r2-bike.com/SRAM-GX-Eagle-Schaltwerk-12-fach-Type-30-X-Horizon-52T-lunar-grau

Zyro are currently showing an ETA of 08/10/2021 for a GX rear derailleur.

This is going to be a fun summer for parts.

Low to Mid range Shimano seems to be much the same, I've had to do quite some hunting around to find a 12 speed Deore Mech in the end. Made the switch to AXS very tempting but a) the wife would have killed me and b) I found one locally 😮 (provided it really is in stock and ready for me to pick up.

Thanks all I've managed to order from r2-bike so fingers crossed it will turn up. 😀 It appears that there is a large shortage of all components this year.
