[#7242002]

Got the Sram 1x11 speed setup on the 2014 spesh enduro and original chain was the XX1 hollowpin which is the narrow/wide.

Accidentally bought the X1 chain which I believe isn't narrow/wide

Can I still use it ?

What I'm saying is the original is PCXX1 hollow pin narrow/wide and the other one is PCX1 solid pin but doesn't state narrow/wide !!!!

only asking coz I just spent £200+ on a new cassette and don't want to f@@k it ! only a simple question !

Technically, half link chains are not narrow-wide, so the question isn't _entirely_ off :))

The PCX1 chain is actually quicker and just fitted it there its not seems to be grinding on the chainring when pressure is applied and catching on the cassette so its getting shot off.

I'm going to need to have a cup of tea and a nice sit down.

All chains with standard links are narrow/wide. Chainrings are either narrow wide or non narrow wide. I have a sram x1 chain on a narrow wide ring if that helps.

It will be fine as long as the chainring is not too worn.

You will need a dual moded thyristor that peaks at plus or minus the centre of negativity to use it though.
