Can anyone help me with the AXS app and the battery display for the components please ?
When I first connected everything to the app out the box it showed the rear mech and the remote and their respective battery levels no problem. The app' then updated the firmware on everything and set up the components on the named bike with the rear mech being the master. It now won't display the battery level for the remote. If I wake up everything and connect when I open up the app then it doesn't even show a battery symbol for the remote, only the rear mech. If I take the battery out the rear mech it then shows the battery symbol for the remote but it's greyed out and has a question mark over it.
According to Sram the rear mech acts as the master and is supposed to know the battery level for the remote and tell the app. It clearly forkin doesn't !
Help please, its driving me nuts !
I normally have to click the connect button on the app for the battery level to show (as in, it doesn’t automatically) but I’ve always been able to get it to show after that.
FFS... as soon as I've posted this and tried it all again its started working again.
I do have to press the CONNECT button when I open the app but then it had only been showing a battery symbol and level for the rear mech, the remote was greyed out with no battery symbol and that didn't change when I pressed the AXS button to 'wake it'... until now when its just done what it should, hopefully it was just a brain fart and its sorted itself out.
I have similar and likewise, it only shows me the battery level when I connect to each item. When I had it set individually (I somehow managed to create the rear mech and the seatpost as 2 separate 'things') it showed the battery on everything, but since redoing it all so it has the rear mech as the master and everything now sits under 1 bke, it only seems to show battery when I've connected to each item individually.
