My Hightower V2 has recently developed a creak when I change up into the big cogs. Gears are set up well and it’s all lubed up.
Read somewhere that it could be pulling on the XT rear mech?
Anyone else had similar issues and been able to resolve it?

You can pull the mech forward by hand to check if its the clutch squeaking.

I think that was the issue - took a look last night and the old clutch was almost seized! It’s 4 months old!!!
Luckily I had ordered a new one and fitting that solved things.
Shame as XT used to be built to last
