I'm told that I need a 122 mm, JIS square BB-UN55 bb for my crank
I can only seem to find 73x122.5 bb's though... will that work ok?
This is just for a pub bike so I'm trying to keep costs loooow rather that buying a new crank etc etc

(assuming your frame is 73mm of course)
Oh and for a 2nd edit, you don't need anything as posh as a un55, a un26 will do fine 🙂

If it's for a SS make sure that both crank and bb are JIS (mixing interface shapes makes the crank sit proud and can bork the chainline)

3*5 is retro get you with your 7 gears at the back. 😛
I have a box full of Shimano square Bb, will have a look if there is a 122. I know I have a 127.
