[Closed] Sprayway Goretex XCR Jacket

For walking, cycling or everything?

I am just faffing with the same thing - an alround, bomber jacket with simple pockets, good hood and longer length...

Its a hill walking jacket I have - walking, skiing, commuting the lot. Just a great very breathable waterproof jacket, I think XCR no longer made?

XCR is no more - see ProShell (or other fabrics) for robustness.

I've just got a Montane Direct Ascent, which is pretty simple, good hood and, the clincher for me, longer than many. On sale at Cotswolds right now too!

It's eVent though, but no reason to be particularly set on Gore-tex IMO.

I bought the ME jacket in the link above - at £80odd, a Mountain Equipment cut and made, Gore ProShell jacket has to be worth a punt...
