Saw this on Bike radar, had anyone tried it and is it worth the effort?

http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/witness-the-sickness-of-our-spray-bike-paint-job-46256/

Bit bored of the colour of my hardtail and fancy a bit of a project. Benefits of doing it on the hardtail are that its pretty easy to strip down.

Also the paint seems quite cheap and it seems a good way of getting my motivation up for the hardtail again without throwing to much money at it.

I guess the key is taking your time on it.

Anyone done it? Is it worth the effort?

Thanks

Sorry not used it but good find.

Like the snake skin design that's been done with it with a stencil.

As always with paint the final finish will be down to the preparation but looks like a lot of thought went into it. I like!

Looks like it's very similar to graffiti paint which is fantastic to use.

That was my thought too. And some of the close ups on their own website look a bit ropey.

I'm wondering about their claim that one 400ml can is enough to cover a whole frame. I'm sure it does in terms of covering the whole area in solid colour, but wondered if that coat might not be thick enough to endure knocks and scrapes. What do people think?
