You've put a 200 x 50mm rear shock on to drop the rear travel down to about 5.3"

yup, the brace is more square edged like on fox forks. don't know why you'd want to rebadge it though, unless you're sponsored in which case you wouldn't ride a pitch and have lyrics/totems anyway...

its easy to get stickers and blackbox don't have any lyrik options, for general sale at least. they are 36's. That brace is a give away.

Are they coils or floats? How does the change it height, if any effect the steering? I considered this set up myself when I was considering a pitch but then the crunch hit.

looks good...the way it should be IMHO.

ROFL

As far as why... I think terrahawk has it.. why not?

That is like putting an M5 sticker on a 316i

I liken this to taking the badge off an M5 and putting a 518 badge back.

titaniumlover designed me a sticker for the left leg

Are you embarrassed to be using fox forks or something? You should have posted them as 2010 pikes, i'm sure a few would be like WTF! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Maybe Boxxer Jr would have been better...

I gave my Pikes to a friend (who desperately needed to upgrade from Z1s) who did it for me, so no time spent. The Pikes had flames on them so he re-sprayed his and I thought 'why not'

No, it's not. I reckon I'll be the only person on STW that undersands why he's done it, though.
๐Ÿ™‚

It's a sleeper

It is indeed. And I like your style young man, very, very good indeed!
๐Ÿ˜€
(I spotted it straight away because I knew you'd swapped your custom painted Pikes for 36s)

Probably one of the very few totally original mods I've ever seen on STW
Superb.

wow thats pointless!

at least you got rid of those pretend pikes that come on them ๐Ÿ˜‰

"good to see a stock bike coming with some nice high end forks like pikes"

some review i saw said.

other than being the same chassis (lowers and stantions), how, exactly are those OE travisties anything like pikes? :p (troll)
its like saying a 2CV is ACTUALLY a Lomax...

they are OE aphex, (original equipment)
will have been made especially for speccy in a batch of a few thousand, and dumbed down a bit to keep the price down.

which is fine! gear like that keeps the price of bikes down, but it irritated me marginally when they won a review comparison based on having "non OE forks" when they blatently are.

compare a pair of "Pitch Pikes" with some aftermarket pikes, and they are rather different forks.
