Is black the only option for leather for this saddle. Ive seen a brown one which has spangly ti rails but leatherette cover?
I actually emailed Charge about this as a lot of the brown saddles in my local shop (and the one I bought) said 'real leather' on the attached piece of card. The reply from Charge was:
"Real leather has only been available on Black saddles to date."
Black only as far as I know if you want real leather, brown & white are leatherette, not real leather.
Got both the white & black Ti saddles, no difference so far (the white is quite new though compared to the black)
Also a brown CroMo one, again no real difference that I can tell in performance/life/comfort....
Cheers, I just wondered how the leatherette faired after some prolonged usage.
My brown one seems to be lasting well, although it's still relatively new.
The stitching will wear away and the cover will split at the seam before the cover material itself becomes knackered IME
