What ACI spoke would be the equivalent of a DT Comp  - and where to buy them? I just fancy something else.

Promise you they won't make a single difference.

https://www.cyclebasket.com/ has always been best for ACI.

ACI Alpina are the double butted ones afaik.
As above cyclebasket are good for them.

Built wheels using them a few times, still going strong.

The cycle basket double butted aci are broadly equivalent to DT Swiss competition. I’ve build wheels with both and they’ve been equally ok to build with and I think similar weights. I’ve not snapped an ACI or DT spoke.

Rose bikes are normally cheap for DT Swiss Competitions - depending on the euro exchange rate at the time I normally find the ACI’s marginally cheaper. However the aci’s have silver coloured brass nipples included in the cost which the dt’s don’t.

They would be a chunk cheaper still but it’s a £6 courier postage charge from Cyclebasket.

I did find the ACIs cheaper still from a very small bike shop/one man band outfit. Think they were based near Bath.
Got sent for 2nd class parcel prices, and came with a hand written note saying thanks for the business 😁
Unfortunately, I can't for the life of me find the link now.

*Edit - found it...

I've used them before, no problems at all. I have broken a few ACIs but that's down to my unwise decision to build an Alfine wheel 3-cross. I've the spokes in hand for a 2-cross rebuild but haven't got round to it yet.
