Hi. I have broken two Marwi Titanium spokes on a Mavic UST Rim. I bought the wheels secound hand before the damage occurred so wasnt responsible for the build.

How to you replace a spoke on a UST rim and does anybody know of a UK supplier for a Marwi Rainbow coloured Titanium spoke.

Cheers
Allan

If you can remove the broken spoke from the nipple, you can just screw it back on, if not then you need to unscrew the rim-insert using the special tool(Mavic or Park do them, and it's a left hand thread), and replace the nipple with a new 16mm item (take this into account if you're using a spoke calculator, otherwise the spokes will be too long, and may bottom out before tightening fully).

Coatesy[/b]. Can you clarify what you meant when you typed 16mm item. Does that mean a standard nipple 16mm in length. Sorry for my ignorance.
