I need to replace a spoke on my front wheel and normally I'd get the LBS to do it, but I figured it's about time I learned how to do it and save some dosh in the process.

However, I'm stumbling at the first block. On the DT spoke calculator it is asking for the number of intersections on the left and right. The wheel in question is a bog standard front wheel built by Merlin with a Hope Pro 2 hub and a Mavic XM719 rim. So can I assume that this has been built in a three cross pattern and the intersections would therefore be three on both sides?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as would any tips or pointers to useful websites on setting spoke tension when I do replace the spoke.

Thanks in advance
