I have a hub with an unknown spoke hole PCD (straight pull) which I want to use for a new wheel build.
I know the ERD of the new rim and have measured the ERD of the old rim.
Is it just a case of adding (or subtracting) half the difference to the existing spoke to get the new length?
Am I missing anything else, allowances for tangencies etc?
er,just measure the hub PCD ?
oh,and yes,you should be ok adding or subtracting.

yeap
are you building on to the same hub then?
Yep, same hub.
I had considered just measuring the PCD of the hub but wasn't sure where to take the measurement from since the spokes extend back a little further than I'd expect for standard spokes.

bare in mind straight pull spokes are very hard to get hold of in a variety of lengths.
