Hi All, recently bought the Firefly light from Spoke Bloke.

I'm really happy with the light overall but wanted to ask any other owners - how do you mount the battery to the frame?

I've kind of wrapped the flap on the battery cover around the handlebar and used the velcro plus the 'click-together' buckle.

However the positioning of the buckle means that it doesn't hold the flap tightly shut. Eventually the velcro lets go (bumps in road etc...) and then the battery is hanging by the flap/buckle and swinging around. Not the end of the world but I was wondering if anyone had a more elegant and robust method.

Am I missing something? (probably!) Do you have a better method?

mount to top tube at headtube junction with velco flap and use clip and buckle round the down tube
I wouldnt put battery on handlebar, its more out of the way on the frame
(I assuming battery is same for the Fibeball as it is for your Firefly)

Excellent lights they are, Im very impressed with mine so far

my dad got one a couple of weeks ago - really impressed! The head unit is the size of my thumb, and the battery is tiny & lightweight.

iain1775 - I'll give that a go on the way home. It may be a better method than mine.

Otherwise I have to agree with cp - plenty of light, very bright and (so far) they last plenty long enough. Can't fault them.
