Arrrghhgghghh.

Changing my chainrings and there's one bolt left in and the male and female ends seem to be stuck together and are just spinning.

Going to have a coffee and a calm down before I start 'fixing' it with fire and a hammer.

Any advice?

Have you got a proper chainring bolt tool? Whilst you can sometimes get away with holding the "female" bit with a screwdriver, you can't beat a proper chainring bolt tool.

Edit:- the above two entries just appeared as I typed that. Doh

Yeah, they're supposed to be like that....you can buy a special tool or use a screwdriver like everyone else

Tits.

Been using a screwdriver, but that's not working. Didn't even realise you could get those tools.

That's where I'll be going wrong then...

When the screwdriver slips and punctures the pad of flesh below your thumb, could you come bake with photos?

I got the right tool and use it. If you need it once you will no doubt need it again.
