ok, setting up my new wheels. they are tubeless but the tubeless rimstip is just airtight rim tape. I've managed to cut it in several places whilst levering a tyre on. Anyone had any experience with this wheelset (they are very nice aside from the rimstrip)? do I need to fit a proper tubeless strip like a Stans?
mine have the rim tape and that is all bar a little sealant. No horrendous experiences yet, bar buggering a spoke on the first outing.

Still haven't got round to having another go at it myself.
thanks, found the other post. rimtape seems a bit flimsy to me. might try some electrical tape instead.
Blue tape works for me, even with a few cuts in it. Need to use a sealant though.
