I am about to sell the virtually unused saddle from my 2007 FSR comp, but although it looks like a rival saddle, it doesn't actually say rival on the side of the saddle. I know this is hard without any pics, but any ideas? Thanks.
The rival saddles that come with Spesh bikes aren't branded as such. I've actually got a rival and one of the original equipment ones like yours and they're basically the same. The 'proper' rival is a bit better finished, the rails are silver instead of painted black and the material looks better quality but when riding I can't tell any difference. If you're selling it, I'd make clear that it'd not the same as the after market rival though unless you want to run the risk of a disappointed buyer.
Thanks Clubber, although the rails on my saddle are silver, I will make that clear when I put it up for sale.
