full of good intent (& a desire not to be last up the damn hills any longer) I have set the turbo trainer up in the garage & fancy having the speedo on the rear wheel for speed / distance.
The wireless one I had on the forks does not have the range to get to the display unit on the handlebars.
Does anybody know of a cabled one with long cables?

I've got a Cateye Astrale on my road bike; it's got a cadence sensor and is designed to have the wheel sensor on the back wheel; In fact; I'm pretty sure most of the cateye ones that include a cadence function are the same.

I got it so I could keep an eye on my cadence; I'm not sure there's much benefit to monitoring wheel speed on a turbo trainer ?

The Astrale is the obvious one, there was one in the Trek range, I forget which.

You'll often (but not always) find computers with cadence have a rear wheel speed sensor because you're running a wire to the cranks anyway.
