you know the ones, with the clamp just on the end of the bars rather than the ODI ones at both ends.

chuffing things are LOCKED ON!!!

any ideas for removal?

I take it that you've removed the little hex key headed bolt that goes in the clamps?

flat headed screwdriver in the gap in the clamp and twist (assume you've undone the bolts? ๐Ÿ™‚ )

That's a new one! The bolt usually just rounds if you're at all ham-fisted with an allen key, or even if you just give it a stern look.

You can saw diagonally across the clampy end carefully and lever with a screwdriver once you've weakened the metal slightly. Obviously you need to be VERY careful not to nick the bars underneath. Unless they're landfill of course.
