Hi Guys,

I have a new 2012 S-works Stumpy FSR and I love it.

I'd like to hear peoples experiences with the S140TA forks.

They seem ok but I'm having two issues and for the life of me I can't find any help in the net anywhere.

I'm 84 kilos with kit, run 95 PSI in the forks, 32 off full on rebound and 3 click from firm on the spike valve (although I adjust this on the fly).

My issues are these.

1 - 95 PSI allows me to blow through all the damping on the forks, while they don't bottom out and cause an issue I'm using "all" of the travel.
2 - if I up the pressure slightly (100PSI) its slightly better but the travel adjust doesn't lock down all the way to 115mm. Now I noticed this in the store when I bought the bike and insisted the forks were swapped but its doing the same thing with these.

I want the forks to drop and stay at 115 because it aids climbing a lot on the steep ones, plus when on the flat its nice to have the front end a little lower so I can grind on.

Does anyone have any advice on setup? I've heard of an additional volume Compensator to stop the bottoming out issue but know nothing more.

Anybody?

Thanks

Ive got the 160mm version on my S Works Enduro. Had them for 18 months and after sorting out an initial problem in the Alps on last years holiday [great service by Specialized Europe who sorted them with only one day off riding] they have been spot on.

I spoke to the Specialized suspension dept who gave me the settings to try for my weight and types of riding. They are only too eager to help
