Any feedback on this fat bike appreciated

Thanks Z1p - forums for everything now eh?
The FB seems popular state side, but then again Spesh are bigger over there
I've seen one and the tyres are truly mahoosive
I like the 190 rear hub as that may be the lasting standard, the 4.6” tyres, carbon fork, plus a decently light aluminum frame
Only bug is the 2x front rings - I like 1x. Anything can be changed though I suppose - just more cash

I'd not had a bike with a granny ring for about 10 years before I got my Puffin. I'm now very grateful I built it up with a double that has a 24t front ring.
Problem is it doesn't seem to matter how steep it gets you don't run out of traction so you feel obliged to keep pedaling.
And I suppose with a 36 rear that would make a big difference too
The effective wheel diameter is pretty much 29er size too which affects gearing.
[edit] I'm still running 9 speed and think I have a 32 max on the back which affects things for me.
Mines ace 🙂
*that said, I havent ridden it off road yet, only picked it up on Sunday*
It's worth noting that if you buy the base spec one (£1500) you can upgrade it, without looking too hard, to pro spec for a good chunk less than the rrp (£3500) and waaaay less if you dont need/want suss forks, dropper, etc
First ride is Saturday. Will report back.
Just seen this posted up there ^^^ on the Bike Forum.

It has the 190mm rear, alloy frame, hydro brakes but no carbon fork. It is, however £500 cheaper.....
^ That's a good deal. But, it doesn't have a carbon fork, and those Jumbo Jim tyres are XC summers
Look forward to your ride feedback tom
