Anyone use these? cheap and look like a large volume tyre. Any good in the Peak on rocks?

Yep, got them on my Cove Stiffee. Excellent tyre. A replacement for my much loved but worn-down-to-bare-rubber Specialized Enduro Pro's, the Eskars are just as good.

Any comparison to High rollers?

Brilliant tyre and a great price. Pretty light too - the 2.3 comes in at 699g.

Great tyre in dry conditions. Got em on my pitch. Heard a lot about side wall issues, but not had any problems myself. Ride some gnarly stuff so they do get a workout.

I have noticed they are a bit slippery in wet conditions so have swapped the front for a maxxis swampthing.

hope that helps ")

I love them for all conditions. Here in Christchurch we have many square edge and sharp rocks to ride through and I have no problem with the sidewalls. I am the sort of person who puts a tyre on my bike and then rides it until it wears out, and so like an "all rounder" sort of a tyre. The Eskar has to be the best all rounder I have found for my riding style. It hooks up in any conditions and it corners very predictably.
