[#3452394]

Been thinking about replacing my Trcaer with something a bit lighter. The new enduro seems to suit what i want (i really dont like the look of the nomad carbon, just incase anyone suggests it :D).

Has anyone got one? are there any problems with them?

Any feed back would be brilliant 8)

Getting one may be an issue, I don't think spesh uk are bringing them in.

That jones boy from dirt did the trans alps (?) on one so there has been a bit of feedback kicking around in the magazine

I rode with a guy on one earlier this year (the 7,000 euro one right?) - upflying rock dented it just like it would dent a £250 saracen

Helitape that sucker

Dented or chipped?
The stone chips on the underside of my carbon (S-works) Stumpjumper (though '07) are mostly paint chips. One or two go into the lacquer, one with carbon weave showing. (Since helitaped)

From what I've read on here re: getting Spesh UK to bring in other spesh stuff, your options seem to boil down to flying one in from america or flying/driving one from europe, (eg calais)

I can navigate my way to here: http://www.specialized.com/fr/fr/bc/SBCProduct.jsp?spid=62195&scid=1100&scname=VTT , I don't know what the french for 'dealers' is ..

Try Specialized Europe and get it delivered to a French dealer. We couldnt find any one willing to post one

This is what I wanted

i think your going to have a problem with stones flying up with any frame thou. my only concern is will it last out in the alps? as i want to do mega again next year.

is that 2012's colour scheme? wow thats horrible 😯 think i might have to try and get lucky by finding a 2011 frame. althou this one does look alot better, i would just end up changing most of it 😕

Its a 2011 frame, you might still be able to get a 2011 full bike from the UK

I'm having the same dilemma - I think I even have the cash for a frame now. But finding an L at a decent price is tricky

thanks Tracey, i might have to have a word with a couple of people as see if i can track one down. I really liked the black/raw carbon frame with the white highlights or the black & yellow one (i think that was an alloy only colour scheme), but cant seem to find either anywhere.

Also, any suggestions on where i can demo one? either near cambridge or sussex would be good 😀

The Enduro Expert Carbon on Specialized.fr might suit too

Ive got a 2010 S-works....Incredible bike and specialized warranty is hard to beat.

I found a crack on the underside of the downtube - sent the frame off and within a week i had a replacement.
