Has anyone used them? I'm getting a little fed up with the chunkiness of my 5:10 Karvers.
Worth a go?
I've got a pair
For a start, they'll take ages to bed in. The uppers are very unyielding when new.
They make your feet look very small!
The soles feel nice and stiff, but I've not ridden off road in them yet so I can't comment on how they feel
Buy a size bigger. They come up small. I'm a UK10/Eu44 in normal shoes but a 45 is just big enough.
Cheers PP. So, they are chunky then?
Bump!
I love mine, there is a first impressions thread I posted somewhere on the forum from when I got mine.
I find them much less bulky than the 5:10's I had previously, much stiffer although still flexible enough for walking etc. They don't offer much water protection so deffinitely want water proof socks for winter riding. I have been using them on my FS bike and my CX for about 2 - 3 months now!

get some five10 freerider VXi elements, much less clunky than the older style five10s and beyond grippy
Mikey, yeah, the sole seems pretty chunky but the upper looks very normal.
