I'm in the market for a decent entry-level MTB and have seen these going new for £1200 in the sales.

There's a few components I'd probably swap out fairly soonish (shifters being one) but from the short test ride I had it feels like a really great bike for what I'll use it for (XC / trail).
Has anyone here been riding one for a while who could give their opinion? I've found lots of reviews for the Comp / Expert and the 29er models but not for the Elite.

I've had my Camber Elite since June 2010, mine is the previous model in white.
I've very pleased with it so far.I changed the shifters pretty quickly for some Slx versions which improved shifting considerably.
I also changed the wheels due to being 6ft 4 and 18 stone.
The suspension performance is great with that unlimited travel feeling,the fork comes in for some stick but for most situations it performs ok.
I also found the saddle excruciating but this is a personal choice.

I've got the 2011 and it's been fabulous.Only thing I've changed is the saddle.Climbs very well.
Other half has the 2011 Elite and she loves it - I've ridden it a few times and it's a really great handling bike.
