I bought some of the Toseek Chinese carbon forks off eBay just under a year ago - lighter and stiffer than the branded ones they replaced.

I'm currently looking for a lightweight seatpost for my CX bike - they're selling a full carbon post for only £18.99

Might be ok, might be crap. I wouldn’t take the risk.

How much post will be showing? If not much then go for it. If a lot, then go for it but be aware that if it is bad then it might snap and carbon doesn't tend to fail 'gracefully' like metal.
This should be a similar thought with any post though).
