Tubeless spaff gone pop.

First time out on new rims & tyres and super spanky clean, 150mtrs from home in the woods and the rear bottom burped leaving me, my bike and the undergrowth covered in spaff'idge.

'twas hilarious, have reverted back to tubes after a thorough clean up operation.

Then 4.5 hours of AwsomeAutumn'ness.

MWAXx

your rim is too thin for the fat rubber thing you put on it, hence it slipped off and your spaff went everywhere.

mmm thats a point, what rims? 17mm internal width + 2.3 tyres = trouble.

Spaff fail here. All dried up when I double punctured today.

Those famous stans crests... Ust Specs The Captain tyres, 2.0's..

Odd and funny really cos I've been running stans tubeless for 2 years previously on another 29erSS my old Gunnar, all be it with RR's on. Not a problem in all that time of banging around the forests etc, even all those brambles that cover and the odd (very infrequent) rocky section. No burps in all that time.

But I like The Captains...

I guess I'm just going through one of those phases.

Tubes in now though for the winter months, don't want to get caught out again.

Anyways up, out for a ride, believe it or not the Suns out!!!!!!!!!!!! Mental.
