2 hour drive so which to plump for ? Looking for good trailsey stuff , nothing too D/Hilly no airtime I fancy BPW sans uplift , mate fancies Afan . Penhyyd looks a bit to sanitised ? What about Cwcarn ? Opinions please want to make the most of the trek

Try [url= http://www.trailguru.co.uk/garw-valley-mountain-bike-trails ]Blaengarw[/url] - nice & rocky. Short, but tough. Ends in nice bermy swoopiness, but is a good mix.

If you don't want DH, jumppy stuff then don't go to BPW. Thats pretty much the whole point of it. The climb up is also a very boring wide fireroad.

Afan and Cwm Carn are great though. Afan has The Wall, Whites level, Blade, Skyline. Cwm Carn has two XC trails. All of them are good XC fun and are not smooth gravel roads.

I would keep going to Brechfa.

Natural trails abound in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons!
