Doing a bit of the Way on Sunday, is it going to be worth putting on the mud tyres?

Cheers

Yep - muddy, wet, slippery, and probably have a strong headwind too ... same as it seems to have been the last 2 years!* ๐Ÿ™„

*Although, I do remember some sun April 2007 ?

all ways a safe bet to have mudx for the dark month's, had a couple of cracking dry sdw rides last year though

The top of the downs around the Chi area isn't too bad considering all the rain...it's the chalk you know ( drains water quite quickly) 8) however there is a lot of mud either side of the downs way which when combined with the chalk is a lethal mix...

A mate of mine rode with us the other day on slicks which was very very interesting to watch!

Pretty sticky mud this morning on the downs but the mud x's I fitted a couple of weeks ago are doing a brilliant job on the daily commute. Riding straight through stuff that brought the bike to a complete standstill with the xc pros
