[#2329799]

5ft 6" she rode a medium blur LT2 and 15.5 dialled Prince Albert (before we were burgled)

She has normal proportions BTW. I would usually say 16" but the TT worries me a little.

Does anyone have any real world advice? Thanks

i bought my Gf a 14" inbred, she's 5'5" (shortish legs)

seems about right.

i'm 6'1"ish - i've got an 18".

seems about right.

I'd say at 5'6" a 16in will be just OK for her. Ladies have longer legs but shorter bodies in relation to men, so standover should be fine but you'll probably need an inline post (I prefer them anyway) and a shorter stem: 60mm ish
🙂

Cheers all. I was asking the question as I thought I might have made a mistake with a late night purchase 😀

Just been to pick it up. 16" in pink with a inline post and 60mm stem.

PP - you must be telepathic!!

I'm 5'4" with 30" inside leg measurement and ride a 16ins. Like PP says, I have an inline post with the saddle fairly forward on the rails, 80mm stem and K Force bars have a good back sweep.

here's a pic of me on it...

for comparison my other bikes are a 15in Rock Lobster and a 16in Giant XTC
