I'm wondering whether these might be practical to fit to my cross bike, for general off road hacking, rather than racing. How are they - durability, grip, puncture resistance? I'm wondering whether the ability to run lower pressures gives much real world help to grip, or are they race only?
Is the risk of a catastrophic puncture too great to take them out for a long run?

I've ridden the SDW on a pair. I tend to give them a touch of sealant before using and the Tufo water activated tape is easy to use although the temperature restrictions are disturbing but don't seem to have killed me yet.
