I'd look at Pauls Cycles.

I suppose it's all about how you define decent, but looks every bit as good as my first mountain bike which I bought for similar-ish money back in the day and I had loads of fun on that...

I was toying with N-1 my bikes......so could release a 2014 Boardman Pro 29er hard tail. New superstar tubeless wheelset on it and SLX rear mech as a branch ate the old one. Would come with the original wheels too although the freehubs goosed hence brought some new lighter tubeless wheels but fronts good......it's a large.....£400........
But it's a large too......
