Hi can anyone recommend a 2,5 tyre for
front wheel
light ( relative)
reasonably fast rolling (or at least does not suck the life out of you on tarmac)
Relativley cheap

I hasten to add this is not for me but my 19yr nephew, bloody foolish yoof I told him a nice 2.1 tyre is what you need..........

£2.50 for some tyre chalk and write 2.5 on something sensible? (Not that I advocate rebranding tyres *ahem* world cup DH teams)

minion DHF single ply 60a

I run one on the front of my mini DH bike that I ride up/along on too (including the odd road section). it's not as big as some 2.5 tyres and not too lardy but is still tough and gives plenty grip for DH tracks.

WTB Weirwolf... fairly light, fast, and still pretty grippy

No idea about this place but at £9 a pop it might be worth a punt!
