Have given up trying to seal my damaged Nobby Nic - it'll hold air up to about 40 now, but any bit of mild abuse and the damaged bits give way.

So I need a replacement tyre (possibly two). It's for my Spicy, so I need a tyre that's

A bit more durable than a Nobby Nic
Decent width - around the same as the 2.4 Nic
Goot on roots and rocks
Not massively heavy (~700g)
Works well tubeless on Stan's Flow rims

Any suggestions? Have had 2.4 RQs (non UST) before, but the sidewalls deformed and they were generally not suitable.

Can you get a Minion in single ply/lightweight UST format?

I have single-ply Minion DHFs tubeless front and rear, one is folding and the other wire bead.

Both have been brilliant and held up really well, even on some very rocky Lakes descents.

2.35 thinner than some brands quoting that size. If your NN is same width as 2.4 Fat Albert then even 2.5 Minion will be thinner.

Not an issue for me though as grip is so good.

Have taken a flyer and bought two Hans Dampf from a German site.

Hoping they'll fit the bill.
