Hi folks does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the reach on these? Is it via the hex screws under the top of the hoods ( have tried these and they dont seem to move)?
Any help much appreciated
Which model?
For R3000 (current model) there is a screw under the lever hood. For previous models you can only adjust using shims.
If it's the newer style (where the gear and brake cable both run under the bar tape), just keep winding the bolt in - mine took at least 4-5 full turns before the levers even started to move!
Ok I think it is the new ones, they are on a 2019 bike, I'll just keep winding then, I wasn't sure if I was turning the correct screws and didn't want to mess anything up
It's number 8 in this diagram so it does sound like you have the right bit.
