Did a bit of googling and the OP wasn't comparing like with like.

Julian Alaphillip won a tour stage on a stock £10,000 bike. I think the bikes, as ridden, at a world cup XCO or downhill is under £20,000? These are the top end of MTB

So I googled top end moto GP costs

https://www.boxrepsol.com/en/motogp-en/how-much-does-motogp-cost/

Engines are 200,000 euros plus. Front brake are limuted to 70,000 euros

Ironically looks like top end MTB benefits from scale of production more than top end motor bikes

hilarious response 🙂 I think it is completely fair to compare a halo headband with a Moto GP bike

I'll update as well, as have bene using Halo (now have 2, redundancy and that) on every ride. What a difference. will never use without now. I've got a pair of the ones that are narrower at the back.

The sweat channel thing really works, as I do find that the back of the headband is way more wet than the front.

Superb. Thanks all for the input.

Been running the Halo on the MTB and Road bike for the last month and it struggles to last more than 15 miles before i have to stop and wring it out (which is very frustrating on the road bike as i dont like to stop often)

Had a Sweat GutR before which i had for years but it was lost in a house move, will be ordering a new Sweat GutR this week and the Halo will be kept as back up in case the GutR gets lost again!

Inspired by this thread I’ve just ordered a halo. They must have got a lot of cash from us forumites! STW should get commission. Hope it works for me.
