Was patching some tubes today and got wondering, when does a tube become just one big patch?

What's your record guys?

What's a tube?

(Probably 6 times or so in times gone by.)

Probably knocking on 10. Though some of those would be 2-for-1s from snakebites.

Now if anyone can explain how my xc bike managed to get a flat, between my last turbo session and tonight, that'd be great...

Don't think I ever have? Certainly not more than once (riding 20 years)

For me the only limit to patching is the hole being too big to successfully patch. Rema sell patches in boxes of 100, and decathlon have big tubes of vulcanising goo for less than a quid.

Waste is bad.
