Been looking into getting a gopro for a while, either the hero+LCD or the hero 4 silver. I've just noticed someone recommend a sony action cam on one of the other threads? I vaguely remember looking into these when argos were doing the as100v (iirc) model mega cheap....
Are the sony action cams a genuine alternative to a gopro, functionality wise? Is the chest mount (sony) any good as obviously the sony camera mounts length ways......? I can get the AS200VR (complete with wrist remote) a fair bit cheaper than a hero 4 silver.
Thoughts anyone?
