Anyone tried them? Opinions? Like the look of the Forensic or going silly and splashing on the Cartel, not stocked locally though so it would be an act of faith on-line.

I love the womens Senza gloves by Sombrio, and mine have lasted really well so far.

I have tried 3 different types os Sombrio gloves and all came apart within a couple of uses, also they seem to be quite different in size, i.e. 1 large pair may fit but the next large pair would be too tight. Best to try before you buy with these.
Although I would not buy them again.
Fox or Troy lee!

I have two pairs of forensics, first one has a small bit of stitching coming apart after two years, others are still going strong. You need to try before buying I'd say to check the fit.

I have had many pairs of sombrio gloves (Forensic especially) - i like em lots and wouldn't say they fell apart particularly quicker than any other brand. If anything they have lasted better than the Fox's i have owned.

bought my sombrio gloves about 3 years ago and they're still complete, fit real nice and pretty well vented, I'd get another pair

picked them up after some year old fox fell apart in the alps, think I got forensic...

Only had my forensics for about 4 months but they're lasting well.

More importantly they look cool

I have a few sets of sombrio gloves and they are really comfy. They are summer gloves but I tend to use them 3/4 of the years only swapping to the seal skins when the temp drops to below 0.

I have one set (cartel) that I wear every day on the commute and they have not fallen apart.

Also the distributor is Paligap - who are a very nice bunch of people!

Forensics are good. I have ripped the cuff pull tab on one, but they're still otherwise in great nick and it doesn't affect the performance.

Another vote for Forensics, I have another pair too. I don't know about a reputation for poor quality, I'd say they're up there with the best, and miles, miles better quality than disposable 661 stuff.

Get some, the cuffs without velcro are a revelation.

I have a pair (forensics?) No velcro. Comfy fit on the fingers, but because they're not tight around my wrist they tend to pull down slightly and ruck up under my palm. Still like 'em though. 6 months on and they're showing signs of wear but haven't fallen apart or worn through anywhere yet.

I've had 3 pairs. I'm using a Jackals at present. Great fit, I'm going through a pair a season which is about usual for me.
Watch the sizes though I'm using a XL, I usually use a large fox glove.

I'd buy again just for the quality of fit.

I've had two paris of Forensic, first pair i lost but were still going strong after a year, I've had my currnet pair nearly a year now as well.

Great gloves, maybe even better than Tryo Lee XCs! Certainly tougher.

The only problem i have is that the thumb is a little short (or perhaps i'm well endowed), so i've had to cut a slit between the thumb and forefinger to get them to fit well. This has caused no problems though and the fabric hasn't ripped at all where i've cut them.

Overall, briliant gloves. And look spangly too!
