Definitely not going to Stonehenge.. once was enough.

I believe that there is usually a gathering of good people up on the clifftop near where I live..

Depending on how the birthday boy fairs this weekend... and how obliging the SO is.. then I imagine that I will be up there doing something at some point.

some will have drums, some will not have washed since the day before, some will have dreds

it will be fun and friendly and probably a bit silly and I shall raise a glass to TooTall at sunrise ๐Ÿ˜€

A glass is a bit middle class and gauche is it not? Do you not have a pewter tankard or a hand-hewn goblet of english oak to raise instead?

...Hopefully somewhere with lots of naked pagan hippy chicks (or, failing that, a ride up the local hill to watch the Sun rise).

Midsummer coincides nicely with a furzday night ride.

So are people planning on making the most of sunset or sunrise? If so, and you pick the sunset on the 21st. Do you take the sunrise before it on the morning of the 21st or the sunrise that signifies the end of the shortest night and do it on the morning of the 22nd?
