Anyone done this before? I've just used JB-weld....

I have mounted mine with a go pro mount. But I hacked up one of the buckles and screwed it directly into the bottom of the light. Bit lower profile but does mean I cant adjust it. I just used up a couple of sticky pads getting the mount in the right place on my helmet.

I did it this way because I have a urge helmet and they are not endowed with a large number of vents. Sticking it on was the best option.

Were I to do it again, would probably do it your way.

I put mine directly on a gopro "foot" using a broken mech-hanger bolt and a bit of a clothespeg ๐Ÿ˜† Like the a-team.

Had mine like this for a while,mounted with a screw on a modified GoPro mount.Works fine but took a couple of attempts to get the angle right ๐Ÿ™„
