[#1279592]

Hey, Im in need of a 12mm socket for the footnuts on my marzocchi forks. It needs to have extremely thin walls to fit between the nut and fork leg, can anyone point me towards a specific brand which is suitable? Thought it was worth a shot asking here before i grind the sides down on one that i have!

I had one of these box spanners (pictured below) and just filed the edges down. Not sure what sort of metal its made from (some sort of steel i guess) but it seemed alot softer than most normal sockets so was pretty easy to file

I bought a standard socket for 50p and ground down the edges (Dremel) - you don't need to take much material off but those things are bloody hard

Have you tried UKBikestore as they are minutes away from Windwave (Marz importers) and will usually go to Windwave and collect the parts then post 'em the same day.
